Drafts Of Poster
Before we started to make progress with our poster for the promotion of the trailer we as a group had made several plans and drafts and are seen above. We made a brief plan on the Mac before drawing the version and adding colour for our second draft. Here also amongst our drafts, we have produced a template copy of the design for our poster to advertise our trailer. We did this to show a simple layout for our poster
Progress Of Making
Here Jessica had taken a screen shot of the process of editing our film poster using the software Adobe Photoshop CS6. At this point been able to capture the 'history' list which shows the step by step that we went through resulting in our final outcome.
First Draft Of Poster
This is the first draft of the groups poster. We had tried to follow the common conventions of already existing posters by including the production details within the bottom of the poster and the main 3 characters names who are therefore involved with our final trailer. We also followed the idea from one of our initial drafts seen above and had used the brief outline that we had created on the Mac so that we could then use the second draft to determine the final design and colours that we had originally aimed to use. We have also progressed from our 1st drafts because we have added extra detail into the first draft of this poster including the tagline, production details and the three main characters in the film on the top and how to contact into the film itself by including the icons from social media which includes Facebook and Twitter
Final Poster
This is our final version of our poster as part of the ancillary tasks. Everything that we had planned to incorporate in to the poster was completed as we as a group had felt that we were able to target our audience successfully and at the same time relate it into the current trends of the horror genre .
